It takes several days travel from the flotilla to reach the Ringali Shell. Hosk integrates with the troopers quickly, bringing a squad of "the pirates" with him along with the green Alliance recruits. The new blood numbers almost as many as the mutineers. Hosk decides to keep the groups separate for now, but he's already working on integration plans with Blackwall. For now, they're drilling constantly.
Mikka has been working on the engineers, but the going is slow. They're under-supplied and over-worked. Worse still, there's a cultural bureaucracy, and the new engineer (the Sluissi Napvannsa Tadavv, they picked her up at their last station) is hesitant to jump in.
Your command staff is reserved. They're very indirect, and none have opposed you. But there's a feeling of distrust there, of polite refusal without actually refusing.
