Robinson is around 40 and stocky, with a bushy beard shot through with grey and a pair of eyeglasses he crafted for himself. He wears a lot of layers, typically a collared shirt with a wool overshirt or crewneck sweater over it and a rugged old army jacket that he favors for its many pockets.
Robinson came up in the dangerous ruins of an extended urban area, where the landscape will swallow up the headstrong and destroy the weak. For many years he made his way as a tough and a problem-solver until the old gang fell apart, got killed or worse. He has since come around to problem-solving in a more constructive way: building things, fixing things, taking copious notes on the mysteries of the world, and making at least a token effort to make an appearance in the lives of the kids he sired in his rambling days.
Though stern in countenance and apt to get lost in his own thoughts, Robinson is an avid listener and learner, and easily intrigued by projects, mysteries and technical challenges to keep his mind busy.STATS:
