    My writing agent calls me and offers me a frickin' sweet advance for a book I pitched! It's got to be timely and the publishing window is like six weeks. I take it, with apologies, and end up sailing down south to unplug and focus on writing for an entire month. I write you letters, several of them, but I literally unplugged most everything.

    It was a HUGE opportunity. But I kinda left you high and dry.
